Mailers/ Publishers
Create, Edit, Stop, Restart and Delete a Mailer within your account.
Creating a Mailer
Add Mailers, and manage their individual settings in SUPPRESS.
- Hover over the Mailers/Publishers tab on the navigation menu bar and select the Create link in the sub-menu.
- Enter the Company Name, Web Address and Notes in their respective fields.
- Enter the Primary Contact details. This is the person who will receive the Access Key that provides them list downloading/scrubbing and Opt-out Link capability.
- In Settings, Import Opt-Out List provides this Mailer with a portal to bulk-upload records directly to the Suppression File to which the Mailer is being granted access. Use Custom Opt-Out Domain allows you to designate a specific Custom Domain to this one Mailer for use on all of their Opt-Out Links. This is highly recommended as best practice in segmenting your Mailers and spreading risks to deliverability associated with blacklisting by RBL sites and the like.
- Lastly, for the Add Mailer to Campaigns section you can either select to NOT add this Mailer to any Campaigns if a Campaign does not exists. Or, you can choose to add this Mailer to existing Campaigns.
- To save changes, scroll down and click the Create Mailer button.
Editing a Mailer
Make changes to existing Mailer Profile settings.
- Hover over Mailers on the navigation menu bar and select View Mailer when its appears. (In a Network account, the term Publisher is used.)
- Scroll through your Mailers list and hover your cursor over the Mailer to be edited. When the drop-down menu appears, click on the Edit link below that particular Mailer. Alternatively, you may also click on the Mailer to access that Mailer's profile. Once on the Mailer's Profile page, go to the far right near the top of the page and click the blue Edit Mailer button.
- Make the necessary changes or updates to edit your Mailer.
- To save your changes, scroll down and click the Update button.
Stopping a Mailer
- Hover over the Mailers tab on the navigation menu bar and select the View Mailer link in the sub-menu.
- Scroll through the Mailers and click on your Mailer of choice.
- Hover over the drop down arrow on the Edit Mailer button to reveal the Disable Mailer option.
- Click Disable Mailer.
- Click OK or Cancel after reading the pop-up alert.
Restarting a Mailer
- Hover over the Mailers tab on the navigation menu bar and select the View Mailer link in the sub-menu.
- Scroll through the Mailers and click on your Mailer of choice.
- Hover over the drop-down arrow on the Edit Mailer button to reveal the Enable Mailer option.
- Click Enable Mailer.
- Click OK or Cancel after reading the pop-up alert.
Deleting a Mailer
- Hover over the Mailers tab on the navigation menu bar and select the View Mailer link in the sub-menu.
- Scroll through the Mailers and click on your Mailer of choice.
- Hover over the drop down arrow on the Edit Mailer button to reveal the Delete Mailer option.
- Click Delete Mailer.
- Type Yes in the required field after reading the pop-up alert.
