Overview

This article will explain how to add an OPTIZMO Managed Domain & IP Address to your SUPPRESS account.

Steps

1).  Login to your SUPPRESS account and hover over the Settings tab.  Then select View Domains.

2). Then select the Add Domain button.

2). From the Add a Domain page, select Add a Managed Domain.

3). You will land on the Add a Managed Domain page.  The first step is to add a Domain Title.  The Domain Title is simply a useful title for you to describe your new Managed Domain.  (ex. Internal Mailers Only) 

Note - the Domain Title is NOT the Domain Name.  The Domain Title will be visible within SUPPRESS so you can properly identify this domain. The Domain Name is the domain itself, i.e. www.optoutdomain.com, and will be provided randomly.

You can also add Notes for this Managed Domain to make it easy for you, or others, to know how it will be used. These are for your teams' eyes only, not shared externally.  Lastly, the cost of a Managed Domain starts at $15 per month for a single domain.  If you wish to obtain more than one Managed Domain, we offer volume discounts.  Please refer to this article for further information on pricing: OPTIZMO Managed Domain and IP Address - Pricing.

Once you have added all your desired information, click on the Select IP Target button.

4). Now you are on Step 2.  Here you have a choice to assign the Managed Domain to an existing IP address in your account, or you can obtain a new IP Address through OPTIZMO.  

If you choose to assign the new Managed Domain to an existing IP address in your account, select the Choose Existing IP Address in Your Account option and select the desired IP Address, followed by clicking on the Purchase button.

To acquire a new IP Address, select the Buy New IP Address option.  Once selected, you will notice the following options:

IP Title: Enter a name or phrase to identify the IP Address in SUPPRESS.  Similar to your Domain Title, this is just a descriptor to help more easily identify the IP Address.  

IP Type: Select whether the new IP Address will be a Shared IP or Dedicated IP.  To learn more about the difference between Shared IPs and Dedicated IPs, please review this article: What Is The Difference Between Shared and Dedicated IP Address

After you have made your selection, click the Purchase button to move to Step 3. 

5). Review your purchase and if no changes need to be made, click the Confirm Purchase button.

6). A confirmation email of your purchase will be sent (please check your spam and junk folders if it is not in your inbox), and this transaction will be documented in your system logs, as well.  The Managed Domain and IP Address will be available for use within 2 business days.
