Overview

Yes - ACCESS supports the storage and distribution of phone numbers for use with SMS Advertising Campaigns. When accessing a SMS Campaign, you may:

• Cleanse your Send List against the Suppresion List.
• Download the Suppression List.
• Add your collected Opt-Out phone numbers to the Suppression List.
• Collect Opt-Out phone numbers from an Optizmo hosted Opt-Out collection page.

Due to the nature of SMS Opt-Outs, these must be collected outside of OPTIZMO and subsequently added to the Suppression List to remain compliant.

Formatting your phone numbers for use with ACCESS

When using our SMS services, you must ensure that each phone number in your Send List is formatted in a specific way so they are correctly matched with the phone numbers stored in the Suppression List. Please follow the rules below:

• Numbers Only: strip all non-numeric characters from each number. e.g. (123) 456-7890 should be 123456789.

• No U.S. Country Codes: all U.S. numbers should be 10 digits long. If the number is 11 digits and starting with a '1' then you must remove that leading '1'.

• No leading 0 in U.K. numbers: some U.K. mobile numbers are 11 digits and start with a '07', e.g. 070 xxxx xxxx. You must remove the leading '0' from these numbers, making them all 10 digits starting with a '7'.
