What files do users receive after using the ACCESS Cleanse service?
The Cleanse service allows you to securely upload your Send List in either plain text or MD5, and we'll cleanse it against the Advertiser's Suppression List. Your Send List remains secured throughout this process and we purge it from ACCESS after the cleanse has completed. Using ACCESS's Cleanse service, we do all the heavy lifting and return an archive file for download containing the following:
- The Cleaned List file - that contains records you may send to.
- The Suppression List file - containing records from your Send List that match recipients that have previously Opted-Out. These records may not be sent to.
- An optional file of Domain Level Suppressions may be included if you have uploaded MD5 hashed emails. Domain suppressions may be added by the Advertiser and Network to suppress an entire domain (e.g. gmail.com would remove any email address hosted on Gmail). As we are unable to filter domain level suppressions when your Send List is uploaded in MD5, this list of domains must be processed by you locally to remove any email addresses that are on the suppressed domain.
- An optional file containing Campaign Creatives if the Campaign owner has chosen to distribute creatives through OPTIZMO and you have selected to download Creatives using the toggle in the Cleanse request.
