How to Enable Domain Alias Protection to an Opt-Out List
Opt-out List Domain Alias Inclusion: This feature is available at the Account Settings level as well as the Opt-out List level. When Domain Alias Protection is enabled at the list level, if an email address containing one of the supported Alias Groups is present on the list, then the remaining aliases will automatically be created and added to the Opt-out List.
On the left side menu bar choose Opt-Out Lists, select the list that you would like to include aliases on. From the list profile page, select the Edit Opt-Out List drop-down arrow and select "Add Email Aliases".
Email Aliases will be added to this Opt-Out List via an import and you will be emailed once the import has been completed. Adding Email Aliases will increase your list size by approximately 30%. The amount will vary depending on your exposure to alias domains and your existing alias coverage.
The current Domain Alias Groups that we support are:
- Microsoft: hotmail.com, live.com, outlook.com
- Apple: icloud.com, me.com, mac.com
- AOL: aol.com, aim.com
- AT&T: att.net, sbcglobal.net, bellsouth.net, pacbell.net, prodigy.net
