Overview 

This article will show you how to use our Resubscriber Tool. This will allow you to remove email addresses from an opt-out list in your SUPPRESS account automatically, via a file import using our Transfer feature. 

Steps

1.  Select the Opt-out List tab on the left side menu bar.

2.  Hover over the Opt-out List. Click on the Transfers option below

3. Select Create a Transfer

Assign the Transfer Name and Days that you want the data to be pulled. You have the flexibility to assign specific days for the transfers to run in order to stagger the data sets. You have the option to set them to run on a daily, weekly, staggered, or it can be run manually. 

In the following section, titled Incoming List Type, you have the option to choose the Import List Type in the drop-down menu. You can choose whether this incoming list is to be added to your suppression file (as normal), or to be deleted from your suppression file (resubscribers). To "Remove" users from the suppression list you will choose "Resubscriber List-Delete Emails" and the records will be deleted from the suppression list.

*NOTE: This is not a standard feature and is not available in all accounts. If you do not see the Resubscriber List in the drop-down menu, please contact support to see if your account is eligible for this feature enhancement.  

There are several Transfer Protocols available to choose from, with SFTP being the most commonly used. Here is a list of our current connection types for quick reference: SFTP, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, AWS S3, and SailThru. 

Next, you will need to enter the Transfer Connection Details, Including the Transfer Protocol, Server Address, and Path/File Name. You will need to click the blue Create Transfer button to establish the transfer.
