Failed Opt-Out Domain Integrity Check
Overview
This article will explain why you are receiving a "Failed" Opt-Out Domain Integrity Check message, how to fix it, and what a Opt-Out Domain Integrity Check is.
What is a Opt-Out Domain Integrity Check?
We do an hourly check on your Custom Domains to make sure it pointed to our servers correctly. If any domain does not point to our servers correctly, an email be sent to the administrators and a message will be displayed on the home page.
What should I do if I receive a "Failed" Opt-Out Integrity Check Message?
For the Custom Domain to work, the CNAME DNS record must point to one of your managed OPTIZMO domains. Verify this is setup correctly in your domain registrar.
I verified that the CNAME DNS record is setup correctly but I'm still see the "Failed" Opt-Out Domain Integrity Check message?
If you have setup the CNAME DNS correctly for your Custom Domain and are still receiving this message, it likely a result of the update just taking some time to go live and propagate through the system. This message should disappear with the next integrity check.
